These Subscription Terms apply to paid Mysparkiepal subscriptions. They form part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Mysparkiepal offers the following plans (prices in AUD, inclusive of GST where applicable):
Current pricing and what's included in each plan are shown on the Subscription screen in the App and on mysparkiepal.com/pricing. We may add, change, or retire plans on notice.
Tradie includes a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. You won't be charged during the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will start and you'll be charged the recurring fee. You can cancel any time during the trial from Settings → Subscription, and you won't be charged.
Recurring subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as selected) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The renewal fee is the then-current price of your plan, charged to the payment method on file.
You'll be notified by email before each renewal so there are no surprises.
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the billing period you select. In-app subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account (managed via RevenueCat); business/web-billed plans are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card details.
If a charge fails, the biller will retry over several days and you'll be notified. If payment still can't be collected, your subscription is downgraded to the free Apprentice tier until you update your payment method.
You can cancel any time from Settings → Subscription, or by emailing admin@mysparkiepal.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal — your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a paid period, except where required by law (see clause 7 below).
We may change subscription pricing on notice. Where pricing increases:
• For monthly subscribers, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies.
• For annual subscribers, the new price applies at the next annual renewal.
You can cancel before the new price takes effect and won't be charged the higher amount.
We don't offer general "change of mind" refunds for subscription periods you've already paid for.
Where you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded — for example, if the App has a major fault that we can't fix within a reasonable time — you may be entitled to a refund or to terminate the subscription. For refund requests, email admin@mysparkiepal.com with your account email, the date and reason.
Refunds processed via the App Store (Apple / Google) are handled by the respective store under its policies, not by Mysparkiepal directly.
You can upgrade any time — the new tier starts immediately and we charge you a pro-rated difference for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period (you keep your higher-tier features until then).
We may terminate your subscription if you materially breach the Terms of Use, fail to pay, or use the App in a way that risks our infrastructure or other users. If we terminate other than for cause, we'll refund the unused portion of the current period on a pro-rata basis.
If you subscribed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, additional terms and the store's own subscription management rules apply. In particular, cancellation must be done through the store's subscription settings — we can't process those cancellations directly.
